## What I care about

I'm drawn to four threads that, to me, are the same thread seen from different angles: **science, technology, religion, and psychology**. Not as separate disciplines competing for attention, but as tools to bring humans closer together instead of pushing them apart.

That interest has a name. I'm an **associate instructor at the International Academy of Holokinetic Psychology** (AIPH). In this role, I teach and share **Unitary Perception** — a state of mind that transforms how we relate to ourselves, to each other, and to reality itself.

Unitary Perception is the heart of Holokinetic Psychology, a framework developed by Dr. Rubén Feldman González. It's not meditation or concentration — it's perceiving everything perceptible at the same time, with the mind in complete silence. You don't select what to pay attention to; you simply *perceive*.

This isn't something I believe in. It's something I live.

My long-term plan is to dedicate more time to this — ideally full-time — and, if life allows, to do scientific research aligned with the **non-particularist vision of science** proposed by the physicist [David Bohm](https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/qm-bohm/), whose work on *wholeness and the implicate order* is the ground underneath everything above.

**Want to go deeper?** Read on — the sections below explore what Holokinetic Psychology is and what Unitary Perception really means.

## What is Holokinetic Psychology?

Holokinetic Psychology is a scientific and philosophical framework developed by Dr. Rubén Feldman González. It explores the nature of human consciousness and perception through the lens of **wholeness** — the understanding that reality is not fragmented into separate parts, but is instead an interconnected whole.

The name itself reveals its foundations:
- **Holo-** (from Greek *holos*, meaning "whole"): the study of wholeness
- **-kinetic** (from Greek *kinēsis*, meaning "movement"): the study of movement and change
- Psychology: the study of the mind and behavior

Together, Holokinetic Psychology examines how the human mind moves toward and participates in wholeness — both within ourselves and in relationship to the world around us.

## Unitary Perception

At the heart of Holokinetic Psychology is **Unitary Perception**: a state of mind in which one perceives everything perceptible at the same time, with the mind in complete silence.

This is not meditation, concentration, or focused attention. It is the natural state of the human mind when it's not trapped in the fragmentation of thought. In Unitary Perception, you don't select what to pay attention to — you simply *perceive*. Your senses operate at their full capacity, taking in everything without judgment, without analysis, without the interference of the "me" that constantly narrates your experience.

Why is this important? Because most human suffering arises from fragmentation — the division between "me" and "you," "us" and "them," "this" and "that." We live in a state of constant conflict, both internally and externally, because our minds are conditioned to see reality as separate, competing parts.

Unitary Perception offers a way out of this fragmentation. When the mind is silent, you see reality as it is — whole, interconnected, alive. This doesn't mean you stop thinking or acting in the world. It means your thinking and action are no longer driven by the reactive patterns of a fragmented mind.

## The Vision of Science Behind It

Holokinetic Psychology aligns with the **non-particularist vision of science** proposed by the physicist [David Bohm](https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/qm-bohm/). Bohm's work on *wholeness and the implicate order* revealed that at the most fundamental level, reality is not made of separate particles but of an undivided whole in constant movement.

This understanding challenges the mechanistic, reductionist view that has dominated Western science for centuries. Instead of breaking reality down into smaller and smaller parts to understand it, Bohm (and Holokinetic Psychology) suggests that true understanding comes from recognizing the wholeness that underlies all phenomena.

When you perceive unitarily, you're not just having a subjective experience — you're participating in the wholeness of reality. This has profound implications for psychology, for education, for science, and for how we live together as human beings.

This is just an introduction. To truly understand Unitary Perception, you must experience it directly — not just read about it. The International Academy of Holokinetic Psychology offers free resources, courses, and materials to help you explore this deeper.
